Learn more about our Program

Our mindfulness training program is designed for future mindfulness teachers who self-identify as Black, Indigenous, Asian or Pacific Islander, Latinx/Latine, Arab, and other people of color. Freedom Together’s Teacher Training affords participants opportunities to:

Build community with faculty, facilitators, and peers, co-creating a new mindfulness eco-system that meets the needs and sensibilities of people of color.

Collectively develop the attitudes, skills, and experiences needed to share and teach mindfulness in their own communities.

Contribute to the evolution of mindfulness for communities of color through their own unique embodiment and development of mindfulness theories, practices and applications grounded in their lived experiences.

Mindfulness Leaders

Our faculty, staff and committee members are dedicated leaders in mindfulness teaching. The diverse knowledge and experience among our team demonstrates the overall makeup of the program.

We are committed to offering a program to transform and guide future BIPOC mindfulness teachers with teachers who demonstrate our mission.
